| With over two decades
of applied boat construction experience, Marine
Group Boat Works has formally created a New Construction
division to encompass its skills and expertise
in the rugged area of specialty that includes hull
extensions and fiberglass and metal fabrications.
The New Construction division was formed shortly
after the U.S. Navy awarded Marine Group Boat Works
with a contract to build three 110-foot Range Training
Support Crafts (RTSC). Marine Group Boat Works
has a long history of designing and constructing
boats including the police boats for the Port of
San Diego and Port of Los Angeles along with Net
Skiffs for the American Tuna Fishing Fleet.
